Hi, I'm Noël — a
game designer and programmer.
My passion revolves around
intricate gameplay mechanics.
I am currently crafting
Forca Recurva, a
strange single-player racing game where
you confront your past selves. Follow the development in
my Atelier.
A
secret puzzle game is also in the works.
You can join me in
my Study where I educate myself about game design by playing thoughtful titles such as:
- The Witness which awakened my love for complex puzzle games.
- Order of the Sinking Star which followed through on a grand vision with exceptional puzzle design.
- Stephen's Sausage Roll which broke me many times.
But I also like:
- Celeste for its difficult and extremely rewarding platforming.
- Super Meat Boy for showing my young self that game developers are in fact humans and anyone can make authentic games.
- Destiny 2 for its cooperative raids and contest mode, not at all for the grind.
- Resident Evil 7 for demonstrating how successful a reboot of a failing franchise can be.
I side with
authentic human craft and
condemn unethical anti-human practices such as AI-generated art, as well as
intent-obfuscating and personality-suppressing tools such as code formatters.

I prefer
- miniplots over archplots
- long-term visions over short-term solutions
- long nights over early mornings
- structure over spontaneity
- silence
